Hydrodrip was created in collaboration with the City of NYC Museum gift shop in Manhattan, New York City. The Product is a fully functional spray bottle that looks and works like a spray paint can, with the only difference being it mists water instead of paint. The inspiration came from the unique beauty of graffiti art in the city that is unlike anywhere else. The product comes in a life-size model, with the exact dimensions of a spray paint can, as well as a keychain version, which also allows users to spray water out of it. This design allows for a fun, on the go, water mister for those hot summer days.
The product prototype was created by using 3D software and printing it on a resin printer, making the prints waterproof. Future production will allow the cans to be made of recycled plastic or aluminum.
Other potential uses for this product would be to use scented water or perfume instead of plan water. And logo designs for the can can be in collaboration with graffiti artist around the city, or allow users to create their own labels themselves.
