Arachne is a furniture set designed and fabricated in TIG-welded stainless steel, drawing formal and structural inspiration from the intricate geometry of spider-webs found in both natural, and industrial environments.

The piece explores balance and negative space—translating delicate organic forms into strong, functional structures. Through material-driven experimentation and precise metalwork, Arachne bridges the visual lightness of web-like patterns with the durability and weight of steel, creating a sculptural yet utilitarian object.

This project investigates the mixture of biomimicry, material behavior, and architectural form within contexts of contemporary furniture design.
